Located in the heart of the old quarter of Merida, Arcano is a “brujo bar,” a shamanic restaurant swathed in the lingering scent of palo santo and mystery. With its beautiful 19th century exteriors and overgrown vegetation, we wanted to create an experience that felt appropriate to the historical and cultural background of Mérida while also designing a unique and distinctive brand identity. With its delicate and gossamer-thin typefaces and constellation graphics, we aimed to contrast these with the rough and natural beauty of the Yucatecan greenery and wildlife. 

A restaurant that enchants and intrigues, that invites whoever experiences it to go deeper into its depths, to discover its sublime, arcane secret.
