EQUIS Magazine is a collaborative riso-printed magazine expanding the perimeter of culture, introducing and overlaying the work of multidisciplinary, emerging and established voices. EQUIS (ex, X, E-kees), responds to the malleable nature of “X”, standing as a mathematical variable, altering gender and pronunciation, taking infinite shapes while traversing multiple fields. Along its three issues, EQUIS has featured work regarding the climate crisis, drug legalisation, social justice, territorial exploitation and gender rights, functioning as a platform for a diverse array of voices.

EQUIS Magazine was born as a collaboration between long time friend and artist Pedro Resendez (aka Calaca Press), an editorial and publication house based in London and Mexico City.
