Rebu is an fintech company based in El Salvador, designed to give businesses the ability to offer their employees access to on-demand wages. Its purpose is to improve workers’ financial well-being while acting as a strategic partner for companies looking to optimize their human resources management.

Rebu understands that financial life is like a river—sometimes smooth, sometimes turbulent. Rebu is the vessel that helps people navigate the ever-changing waters of their finances with confidence. With a user-centric approach, the platform prioritizes intuitive and accessible design, ensuring that anyone—regardless of age or tech skills—can use their platform with ease.

THE CHALLENGE

Rebu initially approached Sin Tesis with a request for a rebranding and for the UX/UI design for their app. However, as the design process evolved and through a brand consultancy, the company identified a deeper need: a redesign that places user needs at its very core. The existing color palette and overall graphic style felt distant from the lived realities of their users and overly tech-driven, making it difficult to associate the brand with its core mission.

The challenge was clear: To build a more human, approachable brand that aligns with Rebu’s vision of empowering employees through immediate access to their wages.
